Former Chelsea forward scored the winner deep into stoppage time to send the Emirates into a frenzy.
Since taking over at Stamford Bridge, Rosenior has lost just two matches out of eight in all competitions – both against Arteta’s – a team who have become known to get under the skin and inside the heads of their opponents.
Last night, the mind games and dark arts started before kick-off with Arsenal players entering the Chelsea half during the warm-up.
That’s what led to Rosenior, 41, shouting and launching f bombs the way of Arsenal’s players.
The Sky Sports camera filmed him uttering the words: “Stay in your half, stay in your f****** half!”
It prompted a sea of comments on Instagram .
One said: “Arsenal fan here. I like him.”
Another jokingly put: “Feisty one you are!” No doubt an intertextual reference to a scene from .
A third wrote: “I mean, fair enough.”
The comment that drew the most eyes was: “About time someone calls them out” – which received over 18k likes.
There was nothing Chelsea could do on the pitch though, and he came in for some due to his cautious approach.
At the end of the game, Rosenior said: “I have to give the players so much credit. Our schedule has been incredible, so for them to put in the energy, the fight, the spirit was there. But unfortunately for us, we didn’t quite have the quality moments.
“We did get into the final third many times in the second half, but we didn’t take advantage of those moments.”

For Rosenior, not taking advantage would come back to haunt them as Arsenal finished off the job late on.
The Gunners will face either title rivals or holders in the final on March 22.
Those two teams face off tonight at the Etihad, with City 2-0 up from the first leg.
Arsenal faced City last time they reached the final of the competition eight years ago – losing 3-0.
