Vardy’s goal was his 200th for the club, with the forward playing his 500th game.

Ipswich came into the game with just one win in their last 12 Premier League games.

The Tractor Boys were a constant threat in an exciting end of season fixture.

Jack Clarke missed a huge chance to level the scores before Kasey McAteer bagged his first of the season for the hosts.

But it was Vardy’s party – and he soaked up the admiration of the home crowd as the curtain came down on 13 years in the East Midlands.
