KBS will be launching its new Saturday-Sunday miniseries lineup with two major projects!
The first drama to kick off the lineup is “,”; starring Ma Dong Seok, Park Hyung Sik, Seo In Guk, and more, which is scheduled to premiere on August 23.
Following in September is “Eunsoo’s Lucky Day”; (literal title), a crime thriller starring Lee Young Ae and Kim Young Kwang. The drama follows the precarious and secretive partnership between an ordinary parent and a mysterious teacher.
Lee Young Ae plays Eun Soo, a mother determined to protect her family, while Kim Young Kwang takes on the role of Lee Kyung, an enigmatic teacher. Their lives become dangerously intertwined over a bag of drugs, drawing the attention of veteran detective Tae Goo (Park Yong Woo), who begins to pursue them.
Commenting on the launch of its new weekend miniseries slot, KBS shared, “With Ma Dong Seok, a major film star, and Lee Young Ae returning to KBS after 26 years, we aim to reclaim our reputation as the kingdom of dramas.”;
