On the first episode of “Law and The City,”; Kang Hui Ji began her new job in the Hyungmin Building. Initially, she was thrilled to spot Ahn Ju Hyeong’s name and contact information in the handover document left for her by her predecessor, as if they had met somewhere before. Meanwhile, Ahn Ju Hyeong appeared dazed at the sight of Kang Hui Ji, piquing curiosity as to what sort of past connection they shared—and whether Ahn Ju Hyeong remembered her.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming second episode, Ahn Ju Hyeong, Kang Hui Ji, Cho Chang Won, Bae Mun Jeong, and Ha Sang Gi are gathered in a restaurant for lunch. Having spent a grueling morning drowning in their respective cases and piles of papers, lunchtime is the only opportunity for the five attorneys to rest and recharge.

However, this precious healing time is disrupted when Ahn Ju Hyeong and Kang Hui Ji unexpectedly wind up clashing in a fierce argument over cases and laws. As the atmosphere at their table changes in an instant, the other three lawyers awkwardly look on and wait for them to finish their argument.
