Upcoming film “Big Deal”;; has unveiled new stills of its cast!
“Big Deal”;; follows the story of Pyo Jong Rok (Yoo Hae Jin), a chief financial officer who treats his soju company like family, and Choi In Bum (Lee Je Hoon), a profit-driven employee at a global investment firm. During the 1997 IMF financial crisis, the two clash over the future of Korea’s beloved national liquor.
The newly released stills offer a glimpse of lighthearted drinking scenes from the film, as well as the strong performances by the cast.
One noteworthy image features Pyo Jong Rok, the CFO of Gukbo Group, sharing soju with Choi In Bum, an employee at the global investment firm SolQueen. Set early in the film, this scene shows the two characters bonding over drinks, hinting at the beginning of a friendly relationship between them.
However, the characters’ fierce expressions in later photos raise questions about the challenges ahead and suggest a shift in the dynamic between the two.
Another still shows Jong Rok with Chairman Seok Jin Woo (Son Hyun Joo) as they work to protect Gukbo Group. The tense image sparks curiosity about the unexpected events that may unfold between them.
Finally, the calm and polished look of Koo Young Mo (Choi Young Joon), the unknown head attorney of a law firm, hints at the powerful impact his character will bring to the story.
“Big Deal”;; is set to hit theaters on May 30.
