Originally released in 2021, “Shark: The Beginning”; made waves as TVING’s first original film. Now returning as a six-episode series titled “Shark: The Storm,”; the sequel continues the journey of Cha Woo Sol (Kim Min Seok), who, after being released from prison, dedicates himself to becoming a professional mixed martial arts fighter. Lee Hyun Wook, who made a powerful impression with a special appearance in “Shark: The Beginning,”; now takes center stage in “Shark: The Storm”; as the series’ main villain. In the newly released stills, his character Hyun Woo Yong exudes a chilling duality—calm and collected on the surface, but with an unsettling glint of sadistic glee. In one shot, his cold, calculating gaze speaks volumes, while in another, he looks almost childlike with cruel curiosity, as if he’s found a new toy to break. On the ring, his unrestrained savagery sends shivers down the spine, as he seems to revel in the violence.
