Love is in the air for Sean and Lucinda after they officially became “exclusive” – but things aren’t quite so rosy elsewhere in the villa.

A similar conversation soon erupts between as they sit down to discuss where they stand, with the pair failing to see eye to eye over their future.

Scott asks: “I’ve always been a thing like I date to marry. I’d say we’re dating now.”

He then asks Leanne if she’s serious about dating on the outside.

The chat gets tense as Leanne fumes: “So what you think we’ve gone through all of this in here for me to go out on the outside and be like ‘Do you know what f*** it.'”

She adds: “You lot are just adding every single layer. Closed off, it’s the same thing.”

Scott replies: “Exclusive is not a relationship.”

Leanne says: “Okay,” but the tension remains as she clearly disagrees.

Scott and Leanne recently reunited after Scott dumped Belle.

This came after many arguments where Scott disregarded Leanne’s emotions as he got to know other girls in the villa.

After a happy reunion, the pair also made peace with Belle and went back to being friends.

The couple were getting close again and looked smooth sailing – until now.

Will labels break them apart again?

Meanwhile, Lucinda and Sean made it official and are now calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend.

Viewers saw Sean plan to ask Lucinda to be his girlfriend during a private chat on the terrace – the same place they decided to get to know each other on a romantic level.

A beaming Lucinda said yes, but the got carried away as he quickly for her just moments later.

Sean confessed: “I genuinely, really like you. I just f*****g love you.

“I’ve actually come to love you.”

But in an awkward moment, Lucinda simply giggled back – not saying it back.

“I can’t. I’m actually going to wet myself,” replied a laughing Lucinda.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
