Barcelona goalkeeper, Wojciech SzczÄ™sny has hailed Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe following the Catalan’s 4-3 win over Los Blancos on Sunday.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star scored a hattrick against Barcelona with Szczesny in goal.
The goalkeeper noted that the Frenchman always scores against him and never gives up.
Speaking to the media, Szczęsny claimed that the former Monaco man gets the better off him on the pitch.
The pointed out the fact that the France national team captain has scored as many as nine goals in five matches against him.
As quoted by BarcaUniversal, the former Juventus custodian said, “Honestly I admire Mbappe’s mentality. Even though things are really tough for his team, he doesn’t give up.
“I think he’s the player that has scored the most goals against me. In 4 or 5 matches, he has scored 8 or 9 goals against me.”;;
Szczęsny went on to reveal that his current club wants to keep ahead of the next two seasons.
He said the discussions have started, but insisted the final decision will always come from his wife, Marina Luczenko – Szczesna.
“I won’t hide that I was offered a new two-year deal. However, I need to discuss it with my family to determine what’s best for us. I have to make this decision for my family, for my wife, and we will decide together.
“There is no decision yet. Most of the decisions at home are made by my wife, and I’m not ashamed of that in the slightest,”;; he said.
The goalkeeper has been able to win just twice in his five matches against the France International.
