THIS is the shocking moment a knifeman, just wearing his underwear, stabbed a cop in the neck in a “vicious” attack, after he had threatened a woman.
Glynn Leedell, 46, violently charged at an officer who, along with colleagues, were responding to reports of threatening behaviour at Kimberworth Park in , .

Numerous people had reported Leedell for his behaviour towards a woman after he was seen acting aggressively and making threats to assault her on July 17.
At the start of the footage, released by , cops can be seen entering a property with a male officer greeting the dog.
Then suddenly a man appears from another room and, armed with a knife, launches an attack on the officer.
After a brief struggle the man is wrestled to the ground with the officer ordering the man to “let go of that knife”.
The semi-naked man replies: “No.”
As the policeman attempts to restrain Leedell he orders the man to “put your hands behind your back.”
The cop then shouts out: “Attempt section 18. Two threats to kill… Release your hands now.
“Put your other hand behind your back now.”
As they start to handcuff Leedell, the state of the officer’s injuries becomes apparent and blood can be seen pouring down his neck.
The cop says: “Am I bleeding?” with a colleague saying yes.
As the police complete handcuffing him, the bodycam footage fades away.
Leedell attacked the officer causing a slash wound to the back of the neck which required hospital treatment.
A second officer also received injuries to his hand during the incident.
Leedell was charged with harassment, assault of an emergency worker and wounding with intent.
He then appeared at Crown on August 29 where he was jailed for four years and six months having previously pleading guilty to wounding with intent.
Rotherham District Commander Chief Superintendent Andy Wright said:”Our officers put themselves at risk every day as they work to keep the public safe.
“This was a disgraceful act of violence which could have had devastating consequences.
“I am thankful that the officers concerned did not suffer more serious injuries from this vicious attack.
“I would like to commend both officer’s bravery during this incident.
“Despite sustaining injuries, they courageously helped their colleagues restrain Leedell and remove the knife from the situation – ensuring no one else could be injured.
“Leedell not only injured our officers but subjected an innocent woman to threats and abuse – making her feel unsafe in her own home as well as affecting others in the community.
“His reckless act of violence has landed him a considerable sentence, serving as a reminder that we will not tolerate any aggression towards our officers.”
