tvN’s upcoming drama “Love, Take Two” has unveiled new stills featuring its supporting cast!
“Love, Take Two” is a heartwarming comedy drama about a mismatched duo: a 43-year-old single mother ( Yum Jung Ah ) and her 23-year-old medical student daughter (Choi Yoon Ji). The pair moves to the countryside to start a new chapter in their lives, encountering various people and chaotic situations that teach them profound lessons about life.
The stills feature Kim Sun Young , Yang Kyung Won , Kim Mi Kyung , Kang Ae Shim , Jung Young Joo , and Park Soo Young , who come together for laughter, emotion, and realism.
The stills raise anticipation for the cast’s performances and character portrayals. Leading them is Sun Young (Kim Sun Young), shown at a construction site wearing an apron and a confident smile. She plays the talented, warmhearted owner of the construction site cafeteria, a loyal best friend to Lee Ji An (Yum Jung Ah), and a self-appointed father figure to Lee Hyo Ri (Choi Yoon Ji).
Tae Oh (Yang Kyung Won), with his free-spirited look and cool vibe, also draws attention. As the head of a surfing club who treats a laid-back lifestyle as an art form, he is often seen as the neighborhood fool, straddling the line between caring and meddling.
Moon Hee (Kim Mi Kyung), who hides a secret behind her expressionless face, makes an equally strong impression. One day, she suddenly appears in front of Lee Ji An and her daughter, Lee Hyo Ri, as a mysterious neighbor.
The residents of Cheonghae Village are also noteworthy. Kang Ae Shim plays Grandma Mimi, a longtime village fixture who has run Mimi General Store for years. Her round glasses, short haircut, and curious expressions raise expectations for her chatty, charming character.
Jung Young Joo plays Chief Go, a female village leader now serving her sixth consecutive term, while Park Soo Young portrays her laid-back, supportive husband. The couple is expected to deliver witty exchanges that add humor to the story.
The production team said, “With the premiere approaching, the set is more energized than ever. The teamwork and synergy built in such a friendly atmosphere will be clear in the episodes. Look forward to the actors, who will deliver a quality production with cheerful characters and warm relationships.”
“Love, Take Two” will premiere on August 4 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
