Upcoming drama “Shark: The Storm”; has unveiled new stills ahead of its premiere!
Originally released in 2021, “Shark: The Beginning”; made waves as TVING’s first original film. Now returning as a six-episode series titled “Shark: The Storm,”; the sequel continues the journey of Cha Woo Sol (Kim Min Seok), who, after being released from prison, dedicates himself to becoming a professional mixed martial arts fighter. But just as he begins to reclaim his life, he finds himself entangled in a brutal fight for survival against a new and ruthless enemy, Hyun Woo Yong (Lee Hyun Wook). No longer fighting just to survive, Woo Sol now rises to protect those he holds dear.
The newly released stills offer a glimpse into Woo Sol’s peaceful and relaxed daily life before chaos erupts. As he pursues his dream of becoming an MMA fighter, he is seen smiling even after grueling training sessions, reflecting his determination and hope.
Other stills showcase Lee Won Joon (Bae Myung Jin) and Han Sung Yong (Lee Jung Hyun), who remain by Woo Sol’s side. Their camaraderie creates a warm and supportive atmosphere amid the calm before the storm.
However, a shift in tone is seen in the next set of stills. In one photo, Woo Sol looks at something on his phone with a mix of confusion and shock. His serious, unsmiling expression hints at the storm looming on the horizon.
Adding to the intrigue is kickboxing master Lee Yeon Jin (Jung Da Eun), who joins the team and exudes a powerful “girl crush”; aura. How will this squad face off against their ruthless enemy Hyun Woo Yong?
TVING’s original series “Shark: The Storm”; will be released on May 15.
