Kim Jae Won has been confirmed to join Kim Go Eun in “Yumi’s Cells”;; Season 3!
Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells”;; tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi (Kim Go Eun)—from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Following the success of Season 1, the second season also achieved high viewership ratings and has been loved by fans all over the world.
In Season 3, the story will follow Yumi, who was once an ordinary office worker, as she becomes a star author after much hard work. Although she achieves great success as a romance novelist who captures the hearts of her readers, love remains the most difficult challenge for Yumi. The village of her cells seems to be in a state of quiet pause with nothing exciting happening until the arrival of Soon Rok, who brings a refreshing change to Yumi’s life.
Soon Rok, the new character who awakens Yumi’s dormant cell village, will be played by Kim Jae Won. Soon Rok is the new PD at Julie Publishing’s editorial department, known for his sweet appearance but blunt honesty. Although he seems cold and ruled only by his “rational cell,”;; he actually has a surprising charm beneath the surface. Living a peaceful life by sticking to his own routines, Soon Rok finds himself facing unexpected situations when he is assigned to work with Yumi, whose “emotion cell”;; is always in turmoil.
