In celebration of its global success,“Nine Puzzles”;has unveiled a fresh set of unreleased stills capturing the tension and complexity at the heart of the story!
On June 2, Disney+ announced that “Nine Puzzles”; has become the second most-watched Korean content on the platform during its premiere week based on total viewing time-coming in just behind the smash hit “Moving.”;
“Nine Puzzles”; is a mystery thriller that follows the story of profiler Yoon Yi Na ( Kim Da Mi ), who was the only witness in an unsolved case from 10 years ago, and detective Kim Han Saem ( Son Suk Ku ), who still believes her to be a suspect, as they unearth the secrets of a new serial murder case that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece.
The newly released stills highlight pivotal moments from the series, capturing the emotional tension between Yi Na and Han Saem, as well as the high-stakes atmosphere of their investigations. From reluctant teamwork to doubt and suspicions, the images offer a glimpse into the drama’s emotional and narrative depth.
Yi Na is seen actively profiling suspects across crime scenes, the Hangang Police Station, and even Han Saem’s home-turned-basecamp-raising questions about whether she’ll be able to overcome her past trauma and uncover the true culprit. Meanwhile, Han Saem’s scenes-from investigating Yi Na’s old room to relentlessly tracking her actions-capture his persistent suspicion and layered emotions toward her.
The stills also feature Kim Sung Kyun as team leaderYang Jeong Ho, caught in a moment of quiet intensity in a field of reeds. His pivotal decision in the case has turned the investigation on its head, leaving viewers eager to see what consequences will follow.
Adding a touch of humor and heart to the drama is Hyun Bong Sik as the team’s youngest memberChoi San, sporting a trendy hat gifted by Yi Na. His light-hearted charm continues to provide comic relief amidst the series’ mounting tension.
The final two episodes of “Nine Puzzles”; will be released on June 4.
