IT was the picture that shocked the internet – after months of concern over Kelly Osbourne’s appearance, she appeared to have lost even more weight.
But over the weekend, fans were relieved to discover a viral snap of Kelly looking skeletal was actually a cruel AI fake. Now, the 41-year-old has looking happy and healthy for the first time in 11 months. Here, insiders tell us what sparked the shift and what’s really going on behind the scenes.

The AI image was certainly alarming – and it comes after Kelly had sparked concern with her increasingly tiny frame since her father Ozzy’s death last year.
It seemed overnight the once bubbly star had drastically shrunk in size, which led to her receiving thousands of cruel comments about her appearance online.
Fast forward to now, and we’re told that the old Kelly is slowly but surely returning.
We understand that the most recent AI picture, showing a fake Kelly in a white minidress at a fake Louis Vuitton event, has caused deep upset and risked setting her back.
Our insider says: “Kelly has worked really hard to get her life back on track and was finally feeling better than she had in a long time, but seeing those cruel pictures is very upsetting.
“It was a bit of a step back for her in her road to recovery.
“How dare these trolls use AI to mock her appearance while she has been going through hell.
“Her friends are furious and strongly considering whether there could be any legal recourse to challenge the creators of the images.”
The pals said Kelly’s focus was on trying to recover from a traumatic year following the death of her beloved dad and heartbreak in her personal life.
“Over the last few months, Kelly has been determined to move on from her horrendous year,” they said.
“She is in a much better place, and with that has come a change in lifestyle.
“Kelly hated everyone talking about how skinny she had got – it certainly wasn’t through choice.
“She’s also made some big decisions about her future, and she is looking to stay in the UK now, so [her son] Sid can go to school here.
“Kelly is also thinking about her career going forward and is seriously toying with the idea of making music again.”
In fact, last weekend, as she joined the Scissor Sisters for a surprise performance at Mighty Hoopla, in South London’s Brockwell Park.
The crowd went wild as she appeared with lead singer, Jake Shears, and started belting out the band’s hits.
She has an impressive voice – she previously released two albums in 2002 and 2005 and even collaborated with her late dad.
But it was her new look that quickly became the talking point of the festival, with fans delighted to see her looking well once more.

One pal of the star who hung out with her backstage tells us: “Kelly is in such a good place at the moment. I haven’t seen her look this good in years.
“Grief has battered the poor girl recently, but there she was smiling from ear to ear and clearly excited about her future. We were all saying what a relief it was.”
“She came alive on the stage. It was where she was born to be – just like her dad.”
It’s fair to say the , so performing with the Scissor Sisters was said to have been just what the doctor ordered.
Not only did her dad pass away last July, but the star also split from her fiancé, 49, .
It was at Ozzy’s last ever gig at Villa Park in July of last year that Sid popped the question – with her whole family around her.
Seven months later, they had split – and Kelly piqued curiosity as she posted a cryptic reel about “abuse” to her stories.

While she has put on a brave face and even managed to pay tribute to her dad at the Brits, the situation took its , and over the past year her appearance has garnered concern on more than one occasion.
The trolls were particularly vicious, and Kelly hit back to “defend herself”.
In a message to her 4.4 million followers, she wrote: “There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something.
“Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.
“I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life.
“I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way.”
Kelly and Sid welcomed their son Sidney in January 2023, but cracks started to show between the pair, and Kelly later recalled they had the “biggest fight” shortly after Sidney was born.
She said on The Osbournes podcast: “I wanted our son to have both of our last names, and [Sid] wouldn’t let me, and we had a huge fight.”

“I feel that I was forced into doing something that I didn’t want to do. I can never ever forgive him for that, but we can move on.”
They started to have couples therapy – there were some “eye-opening conversations”, and eventually they agreed to change their son’s last name to feature both Osborne and Wilson.
Kelly explained: “We both made our child, so he should have both of our last names. Not one is more important than the other.”
Following the split, Kelly turned to others for support and struck up a close bond with a hairdresser called , 37.
Romance rumours started after they were spotted getting close at an exclusive after-party for at the London Palladium.
Kelly was said to be giggling with her possible new partner in a hidden-away corner among the plush sofas of the luxurious Broadwick Hotel in Soho.
The pair also have matching of a crescent half moon with a tooth, which they got together in the US.
Kiinicki is a Los Angeles-based barber and creative designer behind the brand Hella Good Hair, but in recent weeks she has been nowhere to be seen.
It certainly hasn’t impacted Kelly, though – she’s been through hell, but for the first time in forever, things are looking up.
