Kebbi State Commandant of the Federal Fire Service, FFS, Assistant Comptroller of Fire, ACF, Hassan Danashibi Jega, has decorated 16 officers who were recently promoted for their outstanding service.
The promotion ceremony was held at the FFS headquarters in Birnin Kebbi and was supervised by the Zonal Commandant of the Service, Chief Fire Officer, CFO, Muhammed Ibn Umar.
According to ACF Jega, 11 officers at the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Fire, DSF, and five officers at the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Fire II (ASF II) were elevated to their next ranks.
He urged the promoted officers to remain diligent in their duties and continue to justify their new positions.
“You were promoted based on merit. Do not relent in your efforts to make this command proud,” Jega said.
He also encouraged other officers to view the promotions as a motivation to improve their performance.
The Commandant further commended the FFS headquarters for its continued support and expressed appreciation to the Kebbi State government for providing essential equipment and facilities that have strengthened the command’s operations across the state.
