KATIE TAYLOR will fight for the final time this Saturday, with the legendary Irish boxer going up against Flora Pili in Dublin!

40-year-old will call time on her illustrious career this weekend after she finally fights at Croke Park, the venue she has dreamed of her entire career.

The Bray Bomber currently holds the WBA, WBO and IBF titles at 140lbs, and will battle France’s undefeated Pili for the vacant WBC belt to complete the set.

Of her 26 previous fights, Ireland’s superstar has won 25 and lost one, which she avenged against in 2023.

While the focus this week is deservedly on Taylor, 29-year-old Pili will be wanting to spoil the party.

She holds a perfect record of 12 wins as a professional and became top contender for the now vacant WBC strap when champion was made ‘Champion in Recess’ after getting pregnant.

Pili has fought on Irish soil before, though will be hoping for better luck this time around – she lost in Dublin to two time gold winning Kellie Harrington in an international round-robin tournament in 2017.

In the press conference when the fight was announced, the French woman had utmost respect for Taylor, saying: “Katie Taylor is one of the greatest champions in the history of women’s , and I have tremendous respect for everything she has achieved.”
