Katie Price posts cryptic message saying ‘your mum is not your enemy’ after rift with Princess is revealed

KATIE Price has shared a very cryptic message saying ‘your mum is not your enemy’ after the ongoing rift with her daughter Princess was revealed.

Former glamour model Katie, 47, and her eldest daughter Princess Andre, 18, are currently battling through a tricky patch in their relationship, as  exclusively revealed by The Sun .

But now Katie has shared a cryptic message, seemingly addressing the mother and daughter duo’s tense bond.

Sharing a quote on her Instagram stories, Katie urged that as a mum she is “not trying to control” but instead “trying to protect”

The quote also acknowledged how she “may not be perfect” but is “the only woman in this world” who wants the best for her children.

The post Katie shared began with: “Your mum is not your enemy.”

It went on: “She may not always say things the way you want to hear them, but her heart is always in the right place.

“She’s the one who worries when you’re hurting, prays when you’re lost, and stands by you even when the world doesn’t.

“She’s not trying to control you. She’s trying to protect you.”

The cryptic quote concluded: “She may not be perfect, but she’s the only woman in this world who truly wants what’s best for you, even if it costs her everything.”

This comes as Princess paves a path of her own in the world of showbiz.

The teen, who looks exactly like how her mum did at her age, is following in her famous parents’ footsteps by having her own reality show.

She is appearing in her very own  ITV2  show titled The Princess Diaries, which aired its first episode on Sunday night.

Katie previously vented about those working with her daughter  after  The Sun revealed her secret heartache  about being cut out of her TV show.

She even vowed not to watch her daughter’s reality show, after feeling left out of such an important thing in Princess’ life.

Katie previously revealed on her podcast The Katie Price Show that she bumped into Princess’ film crew while they were all in Ibiza .

She told of her heartache when she wasn’t allowed to see her daughter.

“When I was in Ibiza, Princess was there in Ibiza, and I wasn’t allowed to meet up with her,” she explained.

“But funny enough, I walked into a bar, and there was a group of people and it was the producer of her show, and they came up to me and said, we’re producing the show.

“I burst out crying and this producer would know it, and said, ‘I’m so upset’.

“’It’s my daughter. I want to be involved. But that side stops me’,” she recalled.

Continuing, she said: “I was in tears and I never cry.

“She saw how upset I was and I could see that she was in a situation because she knows it’s right that I should be seeing support in my daughter, and I’m not.

“I don’t know where it’s going to go from here.

“But it’s all right for them to not have me in the show, but I’m all right to be used for headlines for the show.”
