Kate Upton sticks fingers up at Phillies fans as she cheers on husband Justin Verlander before Astros World Series win

KATE UPTON caused a stir among Philadelphia Phillies fans earlier this week when she put her middle fingers up at them during game five of the World Series.

The model, 30, was sat among the 42,700 capacity crowd at Citizens Bank Park on Friday as the Phillies took on Houston Astros.

But she quickly became frustrated when Phillies fans took aim at her husband, Astros pitcher Justin Verlander, in a bid to break his concentration.

In response, she stuck her fingers up at the home supporters, who didn’t seem to be too fazed despite the already-hostile environment.

The Astros went on to win the penultimate game 3-2 before clinching the World Series in game six.

Houston secured a triumphant 4-1 win over the Phillies on Saturday to claim the coveted title at Minute Maid Park.

And Kate was in attendance to watch her husband lift the trophy.

The mum-of-one was quick to get involved with the celebrations once the game had ended as she took to the field to crash Verlander’s post-game interview.

She told Fox Sports: “It’s such an incredible experience.

“Having Justin home and being able to be together as a family is so amazing.

“And then to go to the exact extreme, being here at the World Series and then to win, it’s so exciting.

“It’s so worth it, we’ve missed him!”
