KATE Garraway’s new man has revealed there is a “definite spark” between them, as he revealed the “truth” about their budding romance.

It came in an article he wrote for The Spectator, which had the headline, “The truth about Kate Garraway and me”.
In the piece, the journalist penned: “As a sandwich-board man of the business pages, I’m ‘flabbergasted’ to be in the showbiz sections.
“Nobody wanted to know about my warnings of market meltdown but reporters now follow me around, asking, ‘How’s it going with Kate?’

“Kate Garraway and I are from different parts of the media but have much in common – not least a shared sense of humour.
“Though it’s early days, there’s a definite spark between us. But can she ride a tandem?”
It comes a week after Kate, who’s late in 2024, was seen .
The presenter beamed as she supported her new man as he embarked on a 300km London to Paris charity tandem bike ride.
Speaking about the new couple, a friend told The Sun: “It’s still very early days for them as a couple, but they are fitting into each other’s lives well and spending lots of time together.
“They are really happy at the moment, but aren’t rushing anything. Kate knew her appearance at Liam’s charity bike ride would attract attention, but she was keen to raise awareness for the charities.
“Kate is finding her way out of a tough period and has known Liam for over 20 years, so feels familiar and safe with him.”
Last month Liam told The Sun: “I’ve known Kate for years and we’ve recently become close.
“We laugh a lot and really enjoy each other’s company. It’s very early days.
“This may or may not turn into something long-term but there is a definite spark between us and we’re both excited to see what happens.”

Kate previously revealed she was ready to have romance in her life again.
She said: “I wouldn’t like to think that I’d never had romantic love in my life again. I think that would be rather a sad way to go through life, wouldn’t it? But, no, I’m not there yet. I don’t know if anybody would want me.”
