Force Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has said that the Police Commissioner in Kaduna State never said there was no attack.
Hundeyin made this statement on Wednesday while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television monitored by DAILY POST.
He was speaking on Kaduna attack, where over 100 worshippers were whisked away from three churches in Kaduna by bandits.
The police earlier reportedly denied the attack but later made a U-turn and confirmed the abduction.
“Let’s be very specific about what the Commissioner of Police said. At no point did the Commissioner of Police say there was no attack.
“If you listened carefully, he said that information was received that there was an attack.
“And immediately the police mobilised personnel to that place to find out what was really happening. And at the point they got there there was no evidence to point to an attack,” he said.
