KBS 2TV’s “Our Golden Days” is a new generational family drama based on the idea that everyone experiences their own “glory days”—whether in the present, the past, or the future still to come.

Spoilers

Previously on “Our Golden Days,” Ji Eun Oh (Jung In Sun), who had been in love with Lee Ji Hyuk (Jung Il Woo) for a long time, finally confessed her feelings to him. However, she was brutally rejected by Ji Hyuk, who was going through a hard time because of his father and his own job situation.

Still caught up on Ji Hyuk, Eun Oh was unable to focus on work, and they eventually exchanged words in an argument that ended with Ji Hyuk hurting Eun Oh’s feelings.

In the upcoming fourth episode of the drama, Ji Hyuk is bothered by how coldly he treated Eun Oh, and when she returns to work after being sick for a few days, he ultimately goes to see her. Newly released stills from the episode capture the awkwardness that ensues, with Eun Oh visibly startled and flustered by Ji Hyuk’s unexpected visit.

As Eun Oh and Ji Hyuk take a walk together, there is a subtle distance between them that didn’t exist before. Although Eun Oh tries her best to hide her sorrow, Ji Hyuk can’t help but notice show sad she is, and he looks at her with pity. Eun Oh also appears to be holding in something she wants to say, hinting at how she and Ji Hyuk are already growing apart.
