THOMAS Tuchel went on a bizarre rant in his post-match interview, but his players won’t make anything of the statements.

England pulled out a in the quarter-final of the World Cup, but Tuchel wasn’t thrilled with his team’s performance.

While the players celebrated in the background, Tuchel spoke to ITV where he broke down how he was disappointed with ‘s performance.

“Not happy with the performance…” he said.

“We made life very difficult for ourselves.

“The way we played was sloppy. A lot of technical mistakes. We were lucky today.

“It is nothing to do with mentality. We need to play better.”

Bellingham instead focused on his individual impact on the match.

“Thanks to the goal I scored, we’ve made it to the semi-finals and it’s a brilliant feeling,” he said.

“Nyland made a brilliant save for the second goal, but I ran into the right spot and here we are.”
