JOSH TAYLOR has not held back on Conor Benn’s performance against Regis Prograis – and would say it to his face.
after signing a one-fight deal worth $15MILLION (£11m) with Zuffa Boxing to face Prograis at Tottenham’s stadium.

Taylor – – has been critical of Benn’s performance but insisted it is nothing he would not say to him personally.
He said on SunBoxing’s Corner Talk podcast: I’ve been pretty vocal the last couple of weeks about it, I don’t think I need to elaborate on it anymore.
“Everybody knows my opinions and my views on it so I don’t think I need to elaborate on it anymore.
“I don’t want to keep pushing the guy, I’ve said my opinions and that’s it. I just don’t think he’s worth the hype, to be honest and that’s all I’m gonna say.
“But the thing is, I like Conor, he’s a good lad. I’ve spoke to him and met him a few times but I’m just being honest and I say it as it is and I’d say it to his face when I see him as well.
“If you had a problem with it and he said something to me, I would say, I would tell him straight up and that’s the way I am. I’m a straight shooter. You can either like it or lump it.

Benn spent last year at 160lb for his pair of middleweight mega-fights against – losing the first in April but winning the November rematch.
He moved up to 150lb for his catchweight return against 37-year-old Prograis – which he won over ten uneventful rounds.
Benn, 29, over a two-and-a-half year period with Zuffa, which is backed by UFC boss Dana White.
