JOSH JAMES named his ultimate Premier League XI, but refused to acknowledge one controversial Arsenal icon.
The comedian joined StevoTheMadman and in the GOAT studio in the latest episode of The Sun’s brilliant new show , brought to you by .

The rules are simple enough, the supercomputer spins the wheel to give our special guest 11 different teams from the Premier League era, and they select one player from each.
And as you can imagine for Tottenham fan James, there might have been a few prickly subjects if a certain rival North London club came up.
James, 35, kicked things off by revealing his formation, a classic 4-2-3-1 which he says worked wonders playing Football Manager with the likes of Stevenage, Real Betis and Spurs where he won some “much needed trophies”.
The computer randomly generated the first team James would pick, and started out with none other than Spurs’ 1992/93 team.
James highlighted some of the names in the team, including Teddy Sheringham, a “personal association” with Justin Edinburgh, who funnily enough was Stevo’s manager at Billericay.
And after some deliberation between Sheringham and Edinburgh, James opted for his favourite, and slotted him in at left-back with the captain’s armband.
The second team out was Newcastle 2015/16, from which James selected Moussa Sissoko.
Team three was Arsenal 04/05, the year after the Invincibles.

But asked by Sherwood whether he had a problem with Sol Campbell, who moved from Spurs to Arsenal in 2001, James replied: “I hate him. I’ve still got massive resentment.
“I remember my dad waking me up, I thought one of my grandparents had died. I said, ‘Is grandad alright?’ and he went ‘yeah, Sol Campbell’s gone Arsenal’.”
In the end James picked Thierry Henry, and added “never Sol”.
That Arsenal pick was followed up by Manchester United double winners of 07/08, from which he selected Cristiano Ronaldo for the right wing.

The supercomputer put James back down to earth with Wimbledon 1994/95, with Sherwood describing them as “smashing the s*** out of everyone”.
James asked the former Spurs boss for advice, to which he recommended right-back Warren Barton.
Swansea 2013/14 was next, with Michu one star who always comes up at the time and Sherwood revealing he tried to bring him to Aston Villa when he was manager.
But the team also had Jonjo Shelvey, who James revealed was from his area, who ended up being his pick.

Chelsea 02/03 was the next pick, with James going for a young John Terry despite Sherwood insisting over Gianfranco Zola.
Everton 1993/94 came out next, a team which came 17th and conceded 63. Despite that, James picked goalkeeper Neville Southall.
Fulham 2003/04, and picked Louis Saha, before Mauricio Pochettino’s Southampton 2012/13 came out and saw James picked Adam Lallana.
The for the last team, James drew out Nottingham Forest 2022/23, which prompted the comedian to comment on the “slim pickings” for a side that finished 16th.

For his 11th and final pick, Joe Worrall was the man put next to Terry in the heart of defence.
In terms of where the team finished, James was confident in his attack and goalkeeper, while Sherwood believed Sissoko might be his weak link in midfield.
Sherwood predicted 8th with 64 points, with James going for 7th, before the former Prem boss declared he would “quit” if he had won the league’s simulation.
The team earned 71 points and finished third.
On the series leaderboard that put James in second behind Flex by just a single point.
