However, he has now admitted that he inadvertently revealed he was a traitor in an unaired moment.
Speaking to his daughter Honey on their podcast Reel Talk, he said: “It’s nerve-wracking for me to watch. The round tables, of course, have a lot of content edited out, and I’m not allowed to discuss what has been edited, which I completely understand.”
“When I began talking about it last week, they sent us all a list reminding us of the contractual obligations we cannot discuss. So I will try to navigate around it as much as possible without breaking any rules.”
“There’s a fairly extensive list, and most of it is to protect the integrity of the game as a viewing experience for the audience, which makes perfect sense.”
The radio star continued: “I don’t believe I played the game particularly well. Some participants weren’t playing well, and I think Clare was attempting to play cleverly. She seemed to have figured me out quite clearly, even more so than what was shown on screen.”
“In the Uncloaked episode, when she sees my name, she says, ‘Oh, I was going to go for him last night’ – because I had said something to her the night before that I think led her to suspect it was me. He added: “You can imagine how pleased I was when she chose Charlotte’s name. She was being strategic because she knew she didn’t have enough support for my claim yet, and if she accused me and I turned out to be a Traitor, he might eliminate her, so she opted for this route to stay closer to me and possibly remove me later.”
Fans have speculated about a ‘real-life feud’ between Jonathan and one of his co-stars.
During the roundtable on Thursday night, Joe reiterated his theory about Jonathan and voted for him to be banished.
A heated exchange occurred between the rugby player and the radio star as Jonathan tried to persuade Joe that he was not a traitor.
