In a damning interview with Playbook Boxing , the volatile 60-year-old even voiced concerns that Fury “could end up dead or with brain damage for life”
Heavyweight prospect Fisher shares a close bond with his social media star dad Big John.
And even if Fury’s often fame-hungry father is acting up for the cameras – it will still come from a place of passion.
Fisher, 27, told SunSport: “It might be a little bit of promotional stuff there.
“Listen, I have no doubt in my mind that John and Tyson behind closed doors will have their serious chats with their dad, and they will talk with his dad and he’ll talk everything through as it should.
“But who knows what this could be? It could be a tactical ploy.
“But yeah, when my dad speaks to me, I know it’s always from a sincere perspective because for me, I’m not under no illusion how difficult boxing is as a game and as a sport.
“He might be talking the truth, he might be. I’m thinking of it from a father-son perspective.

“My dad does know me better than anyone else, more than any trainer ever would, or any manager or promoter ever would.
“So if it is the truth, he’s got to listen to his dad as well.”
John’s on-screen antics makes anything he says hard to believe – but Fisher says one thing he is
He said: “Like I take the calling out Carl Cobra Froch with a little pinch of salt, I take these comments with a pinch of salt as well.
“Again, people were talking about the Fury-Makhmudov fight. Do I think that John Fury’s got his son’s best interests at heart, 100 per cent, like my dad has.
“But Tyson Fury knows himself better than anyone, I know myself better than anyone and he’s got his training team that will that will take care of him.
“I’ve seen he’s training in Thailand with Joe Parker and other good heavyweights. Kevin Lerena who’s been out there.
My dad does know me better than anyone else, more than any trainer ever would, or any manager or promoter ever would.

“But John Fury will know his son very well, and I’m not sure how much to read into it.
“We’ll see on the Fury-Makhmudov fight because, as they did say, I saw him say John Fury, Makhmudov is no walkover.
“He’s a tough, tough fighter. He’s got about 20 first-round knockouts. He’s a big old unit, so Fury has to be near his best to beat him.”
Fisher has returned home to England after a holiday break in Australia – on the back of a fourth-round victory over Ivan Balaz in Monte Carlo in December.
But the refreshed Romford Bull said: “I wanna get back in that ring now. I feel rejuvenated.
“I needed a little break just mentally to rest because, I’m not interested in the political side of boxing, I f***ing I hate it.
“I love boxing, I love fighting. I love entertaining, and that’s what I wanna do.
“And getting away in the sunshine for a few weeks, doing a bit of strength training, a bit of fitness training out there, it’s done me good just to be on the other side of the world for a bit, away from all of the rubbish.
“I’m ready to get back in there rolling with the Romford Bull army.”
