BEFORE he was cast as cheeky Mickey Miller in EastEnders, Joe Swash caused chaos in a very different show.

Resurfaced footage from an episode of Club Reps, which aired between 2002 and 2004, sees a young Joe on an 18-30 holiday with pals.

The bad lads were scolded by a furious rep called Maz, 29, after a boozy night of mayhem at the hotel.

Maz accused the group of letting off fire extinguishers and having no respect for the hotel or other guests.

One of the lads protested that the reality of the resort didn’t match up with the vision they had been sold, before Joe piped up and asked: “How come we’re getting kicked out now?”

No-nonsense Maz told him: “Because I want you out.”

Joe continued: “But we’re sorry for last night.”

He was then told off for calling Maz “treacle” and grew frustrated that he’d paid £140 for the trip only to be told to leave.

Maz continued: “I’m not arguing with you about that. Go and pack your bags and leave the accommodation please.”

Joe called the situation “b*****s” but got a lucky reprieve when Maz offered the lads a final chance.

Speaking in the back office, she said to camera: “I do get angry with them. It’s the only thing they understand. They’ve got no respect for no one.”

TikTok users were amazed by the footage and Joe’s surprise appearance.

One suggested he might have been playing up for the cameras.

They wrote: “Being an up and coming actor there you’d think this was an acted out stunt for the show.”

The rowdy holiday didn’t impact Joe’s burgeoning acting career. The following year he joined and became a household name during his five years on the soap.

He went on to win I’m A Celebrity in 2008 and Dancing On Ice in 2020.

More recently he has starred in a BBC reality show with wife with whom he has three kids – Rex, Rose, and Belle.
