Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has scheduled May 18 and 20, 2025, for the airlift of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj exercise.

This was disclosed by the Director General of the board, Alhaji Umar Labbo, during a meeting with Aminul Hajj and his members held in Dutse.

According to him, the first batch of pilgrims will be airlifted on May 18, while the second batch is scheduled for departure on May 20, both from Jigawa to the Holy Land.

He called on all intending pilgrims from the state to be adequately prepared ahead of the scheduled dates.

Alhaji Labbo also urged them to conduct themselves as good ambassadors of Jigawa State and Nigeria during their stay in the Holy Land.

DAILY POST reported that the state has a total number of 930 intending pilgrims for this year’s Hajj exercise.
