JESSE LINGARD is reportedly closing in on a return to football and could link up with a massive Manchester United flop.
The 33-year-old former is a free agent after leaving South Korean side FC Seoul in December.

He claims the midfielder is on the verge of linking up with Corinthians despite a late bid from an unnamed MLS side.
Should Lingard head there, it would see him reunite with former Man United teammate Memphis Depay.
The Dutchman, 32, has been there since September 2024 and has 19 goals in 73 outings.
Depay and Lingard spent 18 months together at Old Trafford, and could form a potent partnership on the field once more.
Depay left United in January 2017 after just seven goals in 53 games, having struggled to live up to expectations.

But Lingard fared much better at Old Trafford with 35 goals in 232 outings before leaving in June 2022.
He won the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League with the Red Devils.
And his time in England also saw Lingard play for the likes of Brighton, West Ham and Nottingham Forest.
As for Depay, his post-United career took in Lyon, Barcelona and Atletico.
