Jang Dong Yoon may star in a new romance drama!
On May 15, a media outlet reported that Jang Dong Yoon will be the lead in the new drama “Night in Heaven”;; (literal title).
In response to the report, Jang Dong Yoon’s agency BH Entertainment shared, “‘Night in Heaven’ is one of the projects that Jang Dong Yoon received an offer for.”;;
Based on a 2022 novel by author Hwang Eui Geon, “Night in Heaven”;; is a romance drama that depicts the process of two people, abandoned by the world, finding salvation through each other’s existence. Set against the backdrop of a chaebol family and the nightlife scene, the story follows a chaebol heiress, who lives a cursed life as an illegitimate child, and the ace of a secret club in Cheongdam as they learn the meaning of true love together.
Jang Dong Yoon is reportedly offered to play the role of Cheon Guk, a former taekwondo athlete and the current ace of the secret club Si Bel Homme (French for “handsome man”;;). While the details about the broadcast are yet to be decided, director Yoon Jong Ho of “Lovely Runner”;; will reportedly helm the drama, further raising viewers’ anticipation.
