JAMIE VARDY was mobbed by excited Italian fans as he touched down in Lombardy to join Cremonese.
The Leicester City legend has opted for the Serie A club despite interest from Feyenoord .



Former England striker Vardy, 38, ended 13 years at Leicester in the summer for one more go at the big-time.
Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie tried to persuade him to move to Holland, offering Champions League football .
The Manchester United and Arsenal legend has been in charge of the team since February as he replaced Brian Priske.
But the lure of a season in Serie A saw Vardy agree to join newly-promoted Cremonese , who have won both league games so far.
Vardy agreed a one-year contract with the option of another if his new club avoid relegation.
And fans were thrilled with his decision to make the move to Northern Italy .
Video obtained by SunSport shows the moment that Vardy pulled up in a black vehicle.
Fans could be heard cheering as he got out of the car wearing a Cremonese scarf.

The striker waved to the group of supporters, which only made them louder.
The crowd then surrounded Vardy, chanting a song as he gave out signatures and posed for pictures.
Vardy had previously seen a move to Italy collapse during the summer window.
The 2016 Premier League title winner had agreed personal terms with Genoa.
However, boss Patrick Vieira ended up blocking the deal, which had been put together by club execs.
Since his exit from the King Power, Vardy was linked with a host of clubs.

The likes of Inter Miami , Manchester United , Celtic , Wrexham and West Ham were all tipped with an interest.
During last season in the Premier League, Vardy showed he was still more than capable.
Despite the Foxes’ relegation, he still managed to net nine goals in 35 appearances.
