It was a crime that shocked the nation, quickly becoming one Sweden’s most notorious murders.

On the evening of November 12, 2010, Isakin Jonsson, now 47, picked up a knife and climbed on to the bed where his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, 40, was resting.

He slit her throat, decapitated her, and , which he cooked in salt and homegrown cannabis leaves.

Despite the brutality, Jamie-Lee, now in her mid-20s, has forgiven her father.

According to Jamie-Lee, who met Helle when she was just nine, she became so close to the mother-of-five she considered her “stepmum”.

“She made me feel special,” she told People .

In the build-up to Helle’s haunting end, she had been fighting with Isakin for over 24 hours.

Jamie-Lee previously told The Sun in : “They were throwing plates, pushing each other, throwing knives, and me and her two other children were just sitting on the sofa, crying like babies.

“So at that time, during those 24 hours, I was certain that either I would get killed or she would.”

After the bloodthirsty murder, Jonsson came forward to the and confessed. He was convicted of murder and sentenced to forensic psychiatric care in March 2011.

It’s been over a decade since the vicious crime took place and Jamie-Lee tragically lost her stepmother – but while it’s been a long journey to overcome the trauma, she has decided to forgive her father.

“I have actually forgiven my dad,” Jamie-Lee said in a recent video posted on TikTok.

“I used to be very angry and hateful, resentful. But then I realised, ‘S**t, the only one I’m really hurting now myself’.

“My dad don’t give a s**t if I’m walking around being angry all the time.

“The only one that’s hurting is myself,” she continued in the clip .

“I did forgive him – and that’s one of the best things I’ve done in my life – because that is what set me free,” Jamie-Lee explained.

“That is what truly made it possible for me to truly heal,” said the daughter on her page .

For Jamie-Lee, it was little surprise that things ended in shocking violence – walking into her dad’s flat, she told us, dad’s flat was like “walking into a movie”.

As well as having pictures from Friday the 13th and Freddy Krueger, the vile murderer also often talked about the devil, demons and evil spirits, introducing young Jamie-Lee to the dark side.

According to Jamie-Lee, Isakin gave her a Satanic bible when she was just, and his warped mind corrupted the most basic of parental responsibilities.

When Jamie-Lee was around eight, she told her dad she was getting bullied at school – but instead offering warm words, her father allegedly gave her a hand-made voodoo doll and a pin.

Posted three days ago, the clip has taken the internet by storm, racking up close to 700k views, with dozens racing to comments.

“Forgiveness is a medicine to soul, I also used to be full of hate. You are strong,” wrote one person.

“How did you forgive him? Like how?” another said.

“FOGIVENESS DOES NOT MEAN FORGET!” someone else commented.
