JAKE PAUL says he is building a squad of elite southpaw sparring partners to help him prepare to fight Gervonta Davis.

“I think Montana Love is coming in, Shakur Stevenson wants to come in, Jamaine Ortiz we’re hitting up, Ericson Lubin, some these guys.
“We’re going to bring in a plethora of fighters that are fast, quick, shift southpaws.”
Ortiz, 29, also fights in the lightweight division and has 19 wins, two losses and a draw.
Lubin, 29, is bigger at super-welterweight and fought for the WBC world title against Sebastian Fundora, 27, in 2022 losing in round nine.


Love, 30, meanwhile is a super-lightweight and was undefeated in 19 fights before losing his last two.
Stevenson, 30, is the standout name on the list and contacted Paul’s team with the offer of sparring – and the chance to work against .
Paul, 28, said: “I think he wants to see how good I am and see how good I do against Tank.”
The American campaigns in the 200lb cruiserweight division of 14st 4lb while Davis, 30, is a champ at the 135lb lightweight limit of 9st 9lb.
