It did not take long for referee Mike Beltran to step in and stop the bout with clearly struggling to keep his footing.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 29, took to social media to mock McGregor, 37, in the aftermath – posting 45 laughing emojis.

He followed that up by mimicking the fight – faking a leg injury before hopping into his pool.

McGregor’s return ended in chaos in a fight that was already clouded in controversy.

It was his first bout since losing a civil case in November 2024 – in which he was found liable for assault for an incident dating back to 2018.

The court heard how McGregor was said to have “brutally raped and battered” Nikita Hand in a penthouse at the Beacon Hotel in Dublin.

McGregor limped out of the cage in the aftermath of his loss – while Holloway called for a trilogy fight.
