BOXER Huseyin Cinkara has been hospitalised with a brain bleed and a broken neck after brutally being knocked out by Jai Opetaia.
The 40-year-old challenged the Aussie for the unified cruiserweight titles Down Under on Saturday.

But his bid to get his hands on the prestigious titles was ended by a hellacious overhand left from Opetaia in the eighth round of their Gold Coast clash.
Cinkara collapsed in heap after eating the shot but got back to his feet after being tended to by medical staff.
But he was immediately transported to the hospital to undergo further tests, which revealed he had a bleed on his brain and a fracture in his neck.
Scans discovered that Cinkara had suffered a contusion and a small bleed on his brain.
They also revealed that the Turkish-German tank had fractured his C1 vertebra, which connects the skull to the spine.
Cinkara is expected to spend at least the next two days in the hospital before doctors give him the all clear to leave.
Boxing fans were left stunned by the news of Cinkara’s hospitalisation and flocked to social media to wish him a speedy recovery.
One wrote on X: “Speedy recovery, Cinkara.”
Another said: “Hope he recovers soon.”
And another said: “Praying for a speedy recovery for him.
“That was a tough knockout and just shows how dangerous this great sport can be.”
One remarked: ” The C1 vertebra fracture is very serious.
“If the healing process is neglected or rush it can change his entire life.
“He seemed like a very modest man and was a warrior. I wish him a speedy recovery!
Another chimed in: “Prayers up. Hope he recovers fully.”
