Oatley has been covering some of the tournament’s biggest showdowns alongside former Newcastle right-back Warren Barton after bagging a deal as a commentator .
But the regular host will not be behind the microphone for any of the clashes in the latter stages of the World Cup.
And Oatley paid tribute to Barton, who was during Colombia’s win over Uzbekistan last month, when she released a statement to confirm her tournament is over.
She said: “So lucky to have worked with Warren Barton again this World Cup for Fox Sports.
“Eleven commentaries, criss-crossing three countries in three weeks. On air chemistry begins off air, and he’s a funny fella who takes analysis very seriously. Great combo, great team-mate.”
But Oatley, who last November, is not planning to board a flight straight back to England.
In a separate social media post, she added: “I’m sticking around in the USA for a while.
“Popping to here in Dallas on Monday without three iPads, a laptop and three notepads.
