ITV commentator Andros Townsend has revealed that he is flying home after completing all of his games as a World Cup commentator.

Filming a video at the airport, he said: “My journey has now come to an end – 32 days I think it was, 11 matches in three different countries. 19 different flights I took in that month.
“It’s been a crazy month but it’s been well worth it.
“Amazing games, co-commentating on the World Cup. Commentating on ‘s hat-trick against Algeria in Argentina’s first game has to be one of the highlights.
“And my last game was in the quarter-finals.
“I’ve had some amazing games, amazing experiences. Visited some amazing cities with an amazing broadcaster.
“ITV, thank you so much, as always, for the trust in me, and the team on the ground.
“My commentator partner, Seb Hutchinson, as always.
“And thank you guys to for watching 32 videos of me. I have a boring life, I do the same things over and over again.
“I eat clean, go to the gym everyday. I like to get in nature.
