Keane, who is regularly a pundit for ITV was set to be alongside Pougatch.
However he was absent following .
Ahead of the match Pougatch said: “Everyone here and all of us at ITV sends our condolences to Roy and his family on the sad passing of his mother Marie.
“All of our thoughts are with the Keane family this evening.”
Pougatch was joined by USA women’s manager and legend – who is a friend and colleague of Keane’s.

The 79-year-old passed away peacefully at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice.
Keane, 53, has maintained privacy surrounding his family but when he did speak of Marie, his love for her was clear.

Last year he got emotional while sharing old photos of his parents to his fellow pundits on Stick To Football.
It was obvious how much love he had for his mother.
The Irishman lost his father Maurice known as “Mossie” in 2019.
He had suffered a stroke the year before his passing.
