AN ITV star has claimed that her husband ‘racked up’ credit card debt leaving her ‘trapped’.

Alysia Vasey, 54, addressed her fans in a new video, claiming her husband bought expensive items on her credit card without her knowing.

In the Instagram video, she said: “Sometimes you just think to yourself how did I get into such a stupid position?

“I’ll tell you how it starts. It starts where you think.

“You know, you pay your own way and I’m a big believer in that. You know, money coming in. I was doing doing quite well and I’ll buy the shopping. You know my contribution.”

She went on: “Bearing in mind he’s got like a six foot seven thirty-one-year-old son, farming and everybody eats like a horse, so massive amount of food bills.

“Anyway, get to the checkout and go ‘oh you’ve got dodgy knees. You go sit yourself down, just give me a card, and I’ll pay for it’.

“And then later on you’re like ‘Have you got my card?’, ‘Oh yeah, it’s in the other pocket’. And then you forget about it don’t you?

“And then before you know it this There’s a £600 computer chip gone on for a tractor.

“And all of a sudden everything’s being racked up.

“And you get your credit rating trashed, and you know what? Then you’re trapped.”

Revealing what had happened to cause her split last week, the star, who hasn’t revealed the identity of her husband, only that he is a farmer, said: “I’m a big believer in love, marriage, everything.

“But I just got taken for a ride. Got all the money taken from me.

“Everything. Absolutely everything. It’s been a struggle.

“Absolute struggle these last eight, nine months. I didn’t expect it.”

Alysia then admitted: “I feel a bit embarrassed by it all, but it is what it is.”

Her sad posts about the breakdown of her marriage comes just a year and a half after she announced live on she had got wed.

In February 2025, the excited star revealed she would be going by her new married surname of “Greenwood”.

Host James said at the time: “I am not going to get the hang of this. I have been calling you Alysia Vasey for years now.”

Alysia then added: “Better foraging name, Greenwood!”
