Italy floods: Schoolkids rescued as wave of torrential rainfall smashes northern towns and rivers burst their banks

SCHOOLKIDS have been rescued from flood waters in Italy as torrential rainfall hit towns in the country’s north.

People were trapped in cars and houses as rivers burst on Sunday and Monday.
