Is Family Reunion season 4 happening?

Published on April 15, 2021 at 05:20 AM

With all the stress that comes with living in a world struggling with a pandemic, this feel-good family show is definitely an oasis in a sizzling desert.

The Netflix original series, Family Reunion, has been nothing but a delight since the show debuted back in 2019.

From hilarious family dinners to raising kids with big personalities, this show reminds us of how precious time spent with family really is. But is another season for the series promised?

Is Family Reunion season 4 canceled?

According to What's On Netflix, the fourth season for Family Reunion has already been in the works since the series was renewed for a 16-episode second season. The second season is split into two parts, part three and part four, with part three just airing earlier this April alongside other new releases.

The fourth season (more accurately season two-part four) will most likely finish the sixteen-episode renewal with about eight episodes, which is the same amount of episodes the third season had.

This is definitely super exciting news as the original series has been nothing but a fun time for fans of the show.

Family reunion season 4 cast

The main cast will stay the same as in previous seasons with Tia Mowry returning as Cocoa, Anthony Alabi returning as Moz McKellan, Talia Jackson as Jade, Isaiah Russell-Bailey as Shaka, and Lorretta Devine as M'Dear.

Additionally, the roles of Ami, Mazzi, and Grandpa will also be reprised, played by their respective actors.

As of right now, the trailer for the fourth season has yet to be released.

Family Reunion season 4 release date

There is no official release date as of yet, but we can expect the fourth installment to air later this year or early next year. However, with the global pandemic that date may change sooner or later than anyone can predict.

The show is currently on the Netflix Top 10, so it's safe to say that this series is here to stay.

The first three parts of Family Reunion are available to stream only on Netflix.
