A COUPLE have hit back at cruel trolls who mock their relationship and reckon the wife is cheating on her disabled husband.
Shane Burcaw was born with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), and has used a wheelchair since the age of two.

He met Hannah Aylward after she reached out to him online , and the pair have been in a relationship ever since.
The couple even tied the knot in September 2020, but as their romance blossomed, they revealed the abuse and criticism they’ve received due to their ‘interabled’ relationship.
The loved-up duo previously appeared on This Morning where Shane shared that people often mistake Hannah for his nurse or carer, treat him like a child, or assume he’s incapable.
Now, the two have taken to TikTok where they shared the most common and shocking comments they’ve received online, including bold assumptions Hannah is unfaithful .
”We’re a married couple,” Shane started the video .
”Does that make you want to leave a comment saying there’s no way we’re actually married?” Hannah went on.
”Or that she’s cheating on me?” Shane added.
”Or that he’s paying me?” Hannah chimed in, as she had detected ”ableism alert”.
Ableism is a word for unfairly favouring non-disabled people.
Ableism means prioritising the needs of non-disabled people. In an ableist society, it’s assumed that the “normal” way to live is as a non-disabled person.
It is ableist to believe that non-disabled people are more valuable to society than disabled people, as per charity Sense .
Hitting back at the vicious online trolls, Hannah said in the video: ”Disabled people can and do make wonderful romantics partners – and are just as worthy as non-disabled people.”
The couple, who boast more than 775k followers on their page, have also previously spilled the beans on their love life .
Shane explained that although he can’t move physically as non-disabled men would, this definitely doesn’t cause issues in the bedroom.
