KATE and Rio Ferdinand left their fans in shock over the weekend when they revealed they had moved to Dubai.
The former footballer, 46, and Kate, 33 , have swapped Bromley, South East London for the United Arab Emirates with their children.

Kate shared a glimpse of their stunning new home on her Instagram page, writing: “A new chapter, a fresh start — because if we don’t try, we’ll never know.”
But experts have claimed the couple – who are reportedly worth a combined net worth of £57 million – have nothing to fear in terms of making their new life a success.
Intertalent chairman Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE said: “The opportunities for Kate and Rio in Dubai will naturally build on the strong positioning they’ve established in the UK, where they are best known for resilience, blended family life, and wellbeing.
“In Dubai, they can translate this goodwill into significant opportunities.”
He added to the Daily Mail : “Likely areas include luxury and family-focused brand partnerships across fashion, wellness, and real estate; influencer and tourism and high-value speaking engagements where Rio’s sporting legacy and Kate’s family and wellbeing expertise will resonate.”
Meanwhile Brand and culture expert Nick Ede added: “With the news that Rio and Kate Ferdinand are moving to Dubai they can see their earnings increase a lot over the next few months.
“Brands in the UAE have a lot of money and I am sure they will be clambering over themselves to work with the pair both together and individually.”
Kate took to her Instagram account to share a series of photos of their new life in the sunny Gulf state.
The first showed Kate and Rio looking onto the famous Burj Khalifa building with three of their children.
Kate captioned the post: “A new chapter, a fresh start — because if we don’t try, we’ll never know.
“Ahhh! We’ve talked about this for so long, and now it’s finally real… we’re here 🥹 we are making a new home in the place we met!”
Kate added: “Missing some of our specials already & a bit scared, excited & nervous — but more than anything, ready for fresh starts and new beginnings.”
Other snaps in the carousel of snaps included the happy family sitting around a pool, and photos of their new abode.
The married couple are parents to son Cree, four, and daughter Shae, two.
Rio also has three children from a previous marriage, Lorenz, Tate, 16, and Tia, 13.
