Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Senator, Ireti Kingibe, has decried the level of insecurity in Nigeria.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’ on Monday, the lawmaker said food insecurity is at its worst ever.
She also said that she was pleased to see opposition alliances with national interest and not personal interest
“At the end of the day, everyone wants a better life; insecurity has never been this bad, food insecurity is at its worst ever, taxes are increased, and more are coming.
“Electricity, insecurity, in fact, everything has never been this bad. Food Insecurity is at its worst ever. Taxes that are completely untenable and more and more coming.
“So even let’s talk about phone calls, you have to dial somebody at least five times before you can actually have one conversation. Everything in the country is melting down.
“So it’s not just about whether we want to grab power or not. The truth is that everybody is tired and exhausted just from daily living,” she said.
