AN influencer mum-of-one was stabbed to death as she returned home from a party, with her ex-boyfriend arrested shortly after the attack.

Police said she had been returning home when she was attacked with a knife by her ex-boyfriend, who was allegedly waiting for her at the property.
In a statement, officials confirmed the suspect, a 26-year-old man, was arrested hours later in Horizonte and taken to a Civil Police station.
The man was formally charged with femicide.
Authorities said: “The crime occurred on the same date as the capture.
“Military Police and Forensic Science teams were called to the scene.
“The Civil Police are continuing with the ongoing investigative work.”
Witnesses said the couple had recently ended their relationship.
Karol had spent Friday night at a São João celebration at the gym where she worked, before later attending a funk party.
Her final posts on Friday night showed her attending the events.
In recent days she had also spoken about relationships and breakups, writing: “I already pay for everything myself, I manage on my own.
“If it’s not to protect me, to make me loved, pampered and respected, what would I want a man for?”
Following her death, relatives and friends paid tribute online.
Her uncles, also digital , said Karol was a “a cheerful woman, quick to laugh, full of dreams and plans that were yet to come.
“Dreams that were brutally interrupted by someone who claimed to love her”.
Another relative added that her son had been “deprived of growing up alongside his mother”.
Karol’s death has sparked mourning among followers and friends on social media, with messages describing her as “an incredible woman, full of life and dreams”.
