Boardwalk empire Micheal Pitt arrested on multiple charges

Michael Pitt, widely recognized for his roles inBoardwalk Empire, Dawson’s Creek and Reptile, has been arrested in New York City on multiple charges, including sexual abuse, strangulation, and sodomy.

Court documents obtained by Fox News Digital reveal that the 44-year-old actor was arrested on May 2 at Kings Supreme Criminal Court in Brooklyn.

Pitt faces two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, along with charges of assault with a blunt object, third-degree sodomy, and second-degree strangulation.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and the presiding judges set his bail at $100,000.

According to TMZ, the actor posted bail and has been released from custody. He is expected to appear in court onJune 17.

Pitt’s representatives have not yet responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
