The Commissioner of Police for Imo State Command, Aboki Danjuma, has welcomed a total of 182 newly recruited Police Constables who have officially been assigned to the Command after successfully completing their basic training.
While speaking to the newly assigned officers at the Command Headquarters, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, the Police Commissioner congratulated them and urged them to maintain discipline, professionalism, and adherence to the law in their duties.
He highlighted that their deployment aligns with the IGP’s directive on Community-Oriented Policing, which focuses on enhancing grassroots security and fostering closer collaboration between the Police and community members.
The CP cautioned against any acts of indiscipline and misconduct, encouraging the new officers to serve as positive representatives of the Force and to uphold its fundamental values of integrity, fairness, and service to humanity.
CP Danjuma also took this opportunity to reassure residents that the addition of the new officers will enhance the security presence throughout the state and further strengthen the Command’s collaboration with other security agencies in ensuring peace and public safety.
