Their departure comes as a total shock to the celebrities as they sob: “I’m absolutely gutted, I wanted to finish.”

It comes after a mad 24 hours on the show after and Gemma Collins’

The celebrity, who The Sun is keeping anonymous so fans can anticipate the episode, walks into camp and starts crying.

They say: “Hi guys, I’ve just got something to tell you all.

“I didn’t feel very well this morning… and the medics have advised I can’t return to camp. I’ve got to go home.

“I don’t want to go. I’m absolutely gutted. I wanted to finish.”

The rest of the camp is in shock, but offers their encouragement.

After the campmate departs, the remaining celebrities sit and reflect on the unexpected reality of there now only being eight campmates left.

Some of the crew take the news badly, with one sobbing as their pal departed.

Last nigh two of the biggest personalities in camp were sent packing, with one exit more devastating for fans than the other.

The ousted campmates caught up with hosts Ant and Dec and reflected on their time on the show.

David addressed the “bullying” claims and said: “Today and yesterday people started cracking, there was a bit more beef between people.

“Me and Adam had a bit of back and forth, but the banter, he didn’t really like the banter, he kind of got to the limit he was willing to receive.”

Ant asked if he thought he had pushed it too far.

David replied: “Probably… I’m an extremist and I can’t help myself. It’s all love, I love him really. He’s a cool guy.

“How often do you spend 10, 11 days with complete strangers From Sinitta, beautiful angel floating though, nothing but positive love, Mo legend, Harry with his stories, Jimmy with the banter. Adam with his sensitivity… It was so nice.”

Meanwhile, Gemma said she didn’t resent David for choosing her to go.

She said: “I’ve got no bad feelings to David, everyone has their time.

“I’m so happy I’ve got to relive this whole experience again, last longer, I was much more determined this time and had a lot to prove.”
