The pair are no longer on speaking terms after star Adam, 37, flew into a fit of rage while filming the pre-recorded series in last year.
Despite negotiations back in the UK between producers and the feuding pair, Adam and Jimmy did not reunite for the series promotion.
Jimmy is said to have been unable to attend the series launch because of a prior engagement.
A source said: “It’s a shame that Adam’s outburst has left a stain on the series.”
It’s understood the argument — witnessed by hosts – was sparked when one of the stars was pushed to yell “
A source told The Sun at the time: “Adam totally lost it.
“He started screaming at Jimmy, calling him a c*** and every other name under the sun.
“It was completely unexpected and deeply shocked the other campmates, including Jimmy who didn’t see it coming.”
The attendance of press launches are usually written into stars’ contracts to ensure all contestants are there on the day to promote the show.
Now with Jimmy missing from today’s event, held at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho, the live final has been thrown up in the air.
Following the series being aired on ITV next month, viewers will be able to vote for their winner in a live episode held in London.
All contestants are expected to attend however, as we previously reported, there is speculation that either Adam or Jimmy will not be there.
Our source said: “Adam and Jimmy weren’t able to mend their friendship in South Africa after the massive row broke out.
“It’s thrown doubt on whether both of them will be at the live final.
