When Beverley and Gemma, who were part of Savannah Scrubs camp, eventually united with the main camp, the encounter was described as “pretty awkward”.

Beverley even gave David a stern warning, but fans are still fuming over his “condescending” attitude.

Many viewers are even calling for his axe from the show.

On Reddit, one person said: “David is so annoying and rude!”

“He’s so unlikeable. Sir Mo also comes from a sporting background and he’s not condescending so whats Davids excuse?!” penned a second.

“He’s so obnoxious,” added a third.

“Hope he is out first followed by , who decides who goes out, the camp mates or trials and challenges ?” said a fourth.

While a fifth added: “He’s so unbelievably condescending it’s a joke. It makes Gemma Collins look good and I can’t stand her either. I hope both of them are the first ones voted out.”

Meanwhile, on X this week, one person said: “David haye is a bully.”

“Is it just me, or is David Haye coming across REALLY badly so far?!?!?” asked a second.

While a third penned: “Hope David’s out first.”

And a fourth said: “Cannot stand David. Need him first boot.”

Earlier this week, David’s pals backed his to send Bev to the Savannah Scrubs camp.

They told The Sun: “It wasn’t personal.

“David is a very calm and thoughtful person. He thinks everything through. He’s very logical.

“His thought process would have been all about survival instinct.

“He knew in order to have the best chance in there, it was important to have the strongest members of the group in his team.

“It wasn’t anything against Beverley. His brain didn’t think about how it might look from the outside sending the older woman to live off scraps.”

Another friend added: “It’s not like he’s got a grudge against Beverley or anything. Far from it.

“David may well have been a boxer in his day job, but in his heart, he’s a lover not a fighter.”
